Information may vary based on the sources (webpage, article, book, etc.)

- Always list references in the order that they appear in the paper.
- Intext citations always go after the period in the sentence in a superscript.1 No brackets needed.
- Always include page numbers for written work. Page numbers go in the bottom right-hand corner of the paper.
- Spell out the numbers 0-9. Anything larger than those can be written as a number.
- When using abbreviations to shorthand an organization, program, exam, etc., make sure to write the whole name of the respected title first, and then use the abbreviation throughout your paper.
- Always double check your paper for spelling and grammatical errors before submitting!

When writing an AMA paper that does not require a title page, set up the paper as so:

Name
Course
Professor Belliveau (or your professor for the class)
Date
                                                           Title of Paper

Begin your paper here. One space after the title of the paper. Make sure to include the page number at the bottom right-hand corner. Also, make sure that your work is typed in 12pt font, Times New Roman, and double-spaced.
